A Season of Change | | Elsa + ______
The seasons were changing, and while the queen usually loved cooler weather, she'd found that here, it wasn't nearly as exciting as it had felt back home. At the palace, she'd feel more at ease when the skies turned grey, promising snow, and if they didn't, then she could make up for their lack. But here, Elsa was powerless. She was just as subject to Mother Nature as everyone else, and it was weird.
It also necessitated an update to her wardrobe, and that was why she was hitting the shops on her day off. She'd already stopped by La Mode and had found some lovely sweaters that would keep her as warm as she could possibly get and, she stupidly hoped, would somehow fool herself into thinking that she was normal. Presently, she was sitting outside one of the little cafés with a warm cup of hot chocolate - with extra whipped cream, of course - and enjoying one of the fleeting somewhat decent-temperature and sunny days. Once this was done, she would then decide if she would call it a day or perhaps go pick up Anna and drag her to help with more clothes shopping. Her bags were sitting next to her table, politely out of the way, but when she began moving her foot absentmindedly as her thoughts absorbed her, it fell unnoticed by her and into a passerby's path.
