Spread holiday cheer with these festive Grinch Cupcakes inspired by Dr. Seuss's beloved character, the Grinch. These green velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and adorable Grinch-like decorations are sure to delight both kids and adults during the holiday season.
Ingredients: 1 box of green velvet cake mix. 3 large eggs. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1 cup buttermilk. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Green food coloring. 1 batch of cream cheese frosting. Red heart-shaped sprinkles. Mini marshmallows. Black icing gel.
Instructions: Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin. Put the eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and green velvet cake mix in a bowl. Mix everything together well. Until the batter looks like the Grinch, keep adding green food coloring until you get the color you want. Use two thirds of the cupcake liner to fill up with green batter. In a hot oven, bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Wait until the cupcakes are completely cool. You can use your favorite frosting recipe or buy frosting from the store to make the cream cheese frosting. After the cupcakes have cooled, frost each one with cream cheese frosting to make a swirl on top that looks like the Grinch. To show the Grinch's heart, put a red heart-shaped sprinkle in the middle of each cupcake. Make the Grinch's eyes out of mini marshmallows that have been cut in half. Use a little frosting to stick them on the cupcakes. Draw a naughty Grinch-like smile under the eyes with black icing gel. Your Grinch Cupcakes are all set to make people happy this holiday season! Have fun!
