in “tgirl fumbled,” tgirl is the object of the sentence, not the subject. the implied subject is the person sending blue messages. “tgirl fumbled [by grindr user].” they’re not saying the tgirl herself fumbled in the interaction, but that she was fumbled by the other grindr user by him being a harry potter fan
