An idea for a book that came to me in the middle of the night.

"So basically there's Ink - a magic substance that can make anything you write come to life.

Only people who graduate a prestigious university are allowed to use it.

As the final exam you are given a tiny amount of Ink. (You're given some mushrooms for concentration as well) Your job is to write your deepest secret/fear/insecurity into being.

Your memory of the exam is taken, and the next day the Ink takes its final form as a sentient creature.

The hallway is loud as messy, like never before. Blue creatures walk amongst the students, some humanoid some animal-like. Some look cute while others are scary. Your job is to find out which one is yours."

I was kinda struggling to come up with characters because I want there to be a friend group that the plot follows around. But i can't come up with all of their motives/backstories/personalities.

I am stealing the idea from @imightbeafaerie-official-offical sorry. But if any of you'd like to come up with some ideas for the main/side characters and their personalities (+secrets) I'd be honoured!
