❛ The Winter Fête: a whirlwind of snow, a magnificent ball, and warm, golden lights bursting across the throne room. This annual festival has arrived in Ravka, and so have the various brilliant acts by performers across the kingdom. They now take requests for what acts to perform at the finale of the winter fete celebration. Who shall the next acts be inspired by?❜

To celebrate the holiday season, the staff members of GVO will create for the top five favorite characters as voted by our followers.

❛ Words, the Triumvirate had found, were a suspiciously effective weapon in their arsenal. As the soldiers went back to war, they were equipped with more than just swords. They were equipped with their voice -- a tool more deadly than a whole troop of Grisha. 

With their words slithering into their enemies’ minds and sneaking into their brain, their own army became riddled with doubt. During these trying times, they looked for words that had guided them in the past -- quotes to show them that words can be just as beneficial as they can be harmful  ❜

❛ Despite the wavering treaty between the nations, Ravka found reason to celebrate. Every win was announced with cheer and drink, every celebration echoed throughout the land. The air of merriment was a contagious disease, contractible through laughter and warm hearts. 

It was through these festivities that they found to truly respect the diversity among their ranks -- to appreciate their fellow Grisha for more than their skin color. Their cultures were dazzling, beautiful in their every intricacy, and thus deserving of more than mere acknowledgement.❜

THE KOMEDIE BRUTE HAS ARRIVED 

In the once-dark alleyways of West Stave, the jingling of bells and merry laughter usher in the holiday season. Old and young, rich and poor alike all don their bright masks and long capes and parade down the streets of the Barrel among their fellow citizens. A woman shouts "Mother, Father, pay the rent!" and people scatter to collect Mister Crimson's coins as he tosses them into the crowd. 

In collaboration with @grishatober, Grishaverse Online presents its third mission: GRISHATOBER. Throughout this month, the GRISHATOBER event blog will post daily prompts. You may choose to work on as many or as few as you like, and make sure to join the server to participate in a special trick-or-treating event!
