WAIT GUYS I THINK I FIGURED OUT WHY EVERYONE IS DRINKING THOSE GRIMACE MILKSHAKES AND CRAZY SHIT HAPPENS

So. The Philadelphia Flyers hockey team has a mascot Gritty, who is pure chaos. Left unchecked, he is a PR nightmare. Now, Americans know of his shenanigans pretty well thanks to memes and the internet. But those of us who now know the chaos that Gritty unleashes, are prob a little too young to remember Grimace back in the mid 90s (not me tho. I’m ancient). So. When they see Grimace, who looks distantly related to Gritty (even the name starts with the same letters and have the same syllables), they subconsciously associate the purple creature with unbridled chaos. Which, in my theory, has lead to a mass of people making videos of wild destruction after consuming a Grimace milkshake.
