Once again, I am distraught in realizing that Americans don't have an equivalent of the War Amps key tag program. And on top of that, people on reddit are wanting to opt out? and are "concerned" about how they get your address? The audacity??
The War Amps key tag program is magic. How do they know your name and address shortly after you get your first driver's license? Magic! How do they know when you move to always mail the key tags to the correct place? Magic! How can you drop lost keys with a tag into a mailbox and know they'll be returned to the owner? Magic!
They've been doing this FOR FREE since 1946 and people have the audacity to think about "data privacy." grow up.
