Didn't have some gelato my whole trip until I reached to the Duomo in Milan , Italy . Here is a picture of the strawberry and cookies and cream I had from Gelateria Grom, Piazza Duomo Milano. Gelato is the Italian word for ice cream, commonly used in English for ice cream made in an Italian style. Gelato is made with a base of milk, cream, and sugar, and flavored with fruit and nut purees and other flavorings. 🍓🍪🍦 🇮🇹

The last time I was in Piazza Navona was with my mother decades ago. So to commemorate the moment on my brief visit to this city and in honor of her I topped off the carbonara spaghetti I had for lunch with a scoop of gelato from @gromgelato - I went with the Torroncino flavor which is hazelnut and nougat. Really delicious until it dripped all over my hands right after I snapped this photo.
