They’d probably be found by gelfling and raised by gelfling, because there’s more gelfling in Thra than anything else BUT. Here’s hcs for every clana and group i can think of off the top of my head.

Gelfling: There’s two ways this could go! Either the human will be sent to the Maudra, and raised by the royal family (I imagine they’d all be willing to take a human child under their wing in some capacity, they’d see it as a sign of some kind.) Or sent to some willing family, probably a farmer, to be raised.

Gelfling clans who would be raised by the Maudra: SPRITON, Drenchen, Stonewood

Gelfling clans who would be sent to another family but checked in on: Grotton, Sifa, Dousan, also Vapra, there’s like a 50/50

Mystics: It does take a village, but lets be real. Its no coincidence that Jen was handed to UrSu. He’d bewildered as hell and has no idea how to rear a child but by proxy he would be given the child.

Skeksis: Nobody knows what the fuck they’re doing but- SkekEkt and SkekAyuk would take the baby, being the resident power couple AND having the facilities to be good providers. Ekt being a good friend of Ok would ensure the little one gets a good, albeit very biased and indoctrinated education.
