The moment Chase stepped out of the groundbridge, he knew something had gone wrong. The Mainland Training Center was nowhere to be seen and, of significantly more importance, he was surrounded by Decepticons.
He turned back the way he’d come, hoping to jump back into the groundbridge vortex, only to catch sight of it already irising shut.
“Well, that is unfortunate...“
The police-bot swung around again to face the semi-circle of hostile Decepticons already beginning to close ranks on him.
