I’ve actually never watched this event before and…wow. I thought they would at least have the groundhog walk on the ground or something, observe it, etc. Nope, the guy was just “talking” to the groundhog and then declared six more weeks of winter, hahahahaha XD
Haha, no, though “Bilbo Baggins” would be a great name for a groundhog, if any town with a “B” name wanted to start their own tradition! ^_^
And yeah, I’ve never watched the event either, but I’ve heard it’s heavy on human hullabaloo and light on actual groundhog action, hehehe.
