I’ve actually never watched this event before and…wow. I thought they would at least have the groundhog walk on the ground or something, observe it, etc. Nope, the guy was just “talking” to the groundhog and then declared six more weeks of winter, hahahahaha XD

Haha, no, though “Bilbo Baggins” would be a great name for a groundhog, if any town with a “B” name wanted to start their own tradition! ^_^ 

And yeah, I’ve never watched the event either, but I’ve heard it’s heavy on human hullabaloo and light on actual groundhog action, hehehe.

Heee, nope, not Sigrun! Though as I was drawing I was thinking “Hmmm this looks kinda like Sigrun, oops.” The hair got a little darker than it should have (and does a similar flippy thing) so that might be part of it. The other resemblance is the dangerous grin, of course. ^_^

Not Reynir either, though he is a redhead so it’s an easy mistake to make.

Aww, no worries, I will actually be EXTREMELY surprised if anyone guesses right. (Unless I drop lots of hints, which...well, that could happen, I’m a little too pleased with myself right now, heh.) I will say this: They are from a canon I’ve written before, just not characters I’ve really written. (Although...I think the guy on the left made an appearance once, just...not like this.)

Packing to go on any kind of trip (even the three hour drive to my parents’ house) driving in bad weather, going somewhere I’ve never been before (especially if there isn’t a well-defined plan), talking in front of large groups of people.green tea: favorite flavors of ice cream?Mmmmm…I have a couple of favorites that I can only seem to find in the area where I grew up (Perry’s brand doesn’t seem to be widespread). One of them is called Rocky Mountain Raspberry (white chocolate ice cream with raspberry swirls and chocolate chunks) and the other is White Lightning (dark chocolate with mint swirls). But most anything gluten-free that has chocolate in it is a safe bet, too. ^_^
