See, this is what I’m talking about. I've given you a bunch of links from well known papers that have rigorous editorial standards. This is something that governments all over the world are concerned with. But if “conspiracy of establishment liberals” just feels more true to you, then there’s no evidence I can give you to change your mind. And that’s really, really depressing, because a liberal democracy needs its citizens to have some kind of shared reality in order to function.

I usually hate the narrative of the gay person murdering their lover out of jealousy, but tbh it makes a lot of sense for them

that’s not actually why i made the post i just refuse to believe that any character i like even a little bit is straight

even with this hc though i think that ernesto killed hector less out of “if i can’t have you no one can” but more like “you know a secret about me and i can’t risk anyone else knowing” wrt to ernesto’s songs actually being written by hector

Plus Fiyero's personality is just a lot more compatible with hers in the book

I feel so too, but then all the characters are much more layered and darker in the book. Book Fiyero is a puppy dog but he has a lot of bite to him as well and definitely gets more confident as their affair goes. He feels like someone who can handle Elphie and her crippling hate of herself.

yeah she can be pretty bad but people always seem to forget the countless times kermit would go behind her back on either a talk show or an interview and make jokes about her weight and deny the idea of the two dating even though they clearly are, hell he’d even make those comments to her face

meanwhile most of the time piggy constantly praised kermit and reminded everyone how much he means to her, I mean sure she would go super overboard with tricking him into marrying her and stuff, but it was always out of love

piggy is always painted as the bad seed of the relationship because she hit kermit, even though 98% of the time he deserved it.

so yeah they’re both at fault, but tbh I think kermit was even more so than her
