i made a similar post like this once but uhh i can't find it anywhere?? so uh here's the kids' texting styles i've never done anything with alana - only uses capitalization on proper nouns like people’s names, places, and organizations. still uses proper syntax. uses some abbreviations such as omg, brb, gtg but only sparingly. never actually types lol tho she prefers to use the 😂😂😂 emoji. usually only sends one text at a time but she can double or triple text close friends or if she's concerned about sending a 'wall of text' poptarts - he used to use all proper type. capitalization, spelling, punctuation, the works until he started hanging out with people who never text like that so he can be pretty lax now if he chooses to be em - never uses capitalization except for Dramatic Effect. uses some abbreviations like u/ur, rip, idk, and wtf. she’s the queen at sending multiple texts at a time bc they’re usually short and she kind of tries to reflect the way she talks in real life. frequently uses the double hearts emoji when she’s in a good mood and saying something nice to somebody else or talking about something she loves, but generally doesn’t use a lot else in the way of emojis except to ppl she's bonded with loser - pretty much the same style as em?? except that he uses more emoji in substitution for words than she does nabulungi - only uses capitalization if someone else uses it first, otherwise she doesn’t worry about it. the only exception is with arnold where she only uses capital letters on ideas arnold has brought up ( i.e., him telling her about valentines’ day and her asking what it was ) uses a ton of emojis, most frequently every variation of heart emojis available, but she’s also a big fan of the ❗ and ❓❔ emojis
