Some of our recent Team Builders 1 group class graduates. Our Team Builders class series is fantastic if you want to learn how to train your dog yourself, and put in the time building that relationship. Classes cover: attention to you around distractions; self control; polite greetings; loose leash walking; come when called; stay and go to bed/stay; wait at boundaries; back up/excuse me; play, enrichment, exploration and leadership. Please note: group classes are not suitable for dogs who need help with anxiety, aggression, fearfulness, excessive barking or leash reactivity. Today's Good Dog Level 2 dog training class was focused on store manners. We practiced loose leash walking, polite greetings and "shopping" with our dogs. All around the distractions of a busy pet store. Next week's class is Around Town, which will focus on loose leash walking on city streets, relaxing at outdoor cafes and more. Advanced Twinkles from a recent #suzukiviolin #groupclass #violinconcert As a grand finale, our #youngviolinists performed #twinkletwinklelittlestar in multiple keys and multiple rhythms. The key and rhythm assignments were decided on stage by the performers just seconds before the performance, so the exact assignments were not rehearsed ahead of time! We enjoy these transposition and rhythm games in our weekly #violinclasses Games like this encourage curiosity and keep us “on our toes” with listening closely to each other because we don’t know exactly how it’s going to sound ahead of time!
