Grousemane kits! (With Brownmouse surrogate)

Since males are almost always a copy of the mom / trans father, there’s probably only one tom in this litter (being the brown one).

Meet Starlingkit, Buzzardkit, Aspenkit, and Dustkit! Though I’m not sure yet who is who. @starfalcon555 what do you think?

Why has your number of mice gone down?

Grousemouse died last week. She seemed to suffer some sort of brain injury & passed away shortly after.

I still have six girls & two boys, but I’m not planning on getting any more, at least for a while, once they pass away. I’m debating having Janice euthanized soon; she has a very sizable tumor on her belly. She’s doing GREAT otherwise…she’s actually gained weight recently & her coat looks good & she’s very bright-eyed, but if she gets to the point where she looks to not be feeling well or it is impacting her movement, I will have her put to sleep.

I like pictures of multiple mice because they all look so different & it is like a pretty rainbow of diversity.

I know this is a crappy picture, but I don't have a lot of them up (they're not very tame or friendly), so I thought I should post one of Grousemouse (left, the pretty light brindle) & her sister Pigeonmouse...I'm not sure what color Pidge would be considered, but I love her coat! Also, she's not grotesquely thin like she looks here, she was mid-jump & so her angles look off.
