Are you collaborating with forward thinking community integrated charities? I had the pleasure of attending @accentrallancs Purposeful Business Event last month at the @marriottpreston. It was enlightening to see a charity that doesn’t just provide dementia care. They create an experience for their users. Have bespoke activities for people to do things they used to love. Their shops are more than a place of transaction. They are now firmly focused on the future, and how they can further increase the impact of the excellent service they give. They are forging strong links to the local business community as sustainability comes from having a powerful network to collaboratively deliver with. At the event the speakers all had a powerful message to impart. @normantenray and Suzanne Carr articulated the vision with clarity. Steven Kempster gave us a vision of the future. @mrsdblogger showed that purpose can be implemented. Let’s continue to be purpose in both business and charity as we look to make a difference through working in tandem. Lancashire is stronger together.
