Red Diamonds

There are jars. Many jars…each with what started as part of my heart. Each jar filled with such optimism, joy, and hope. Each closed with an idea that this has no need to be open again. This jar is filled with all things great. This jar is inflated. Inflated with ideas. Ideas that like a constant blinking eye keeping me up night. For from this hope came despair. A longing to keep her happy. And from no where when the honeymoon phase is over the pressure starts. See no one sees the pressure but you feel it. With each passing day it gets heavier. See if you are not helping lift the burden you are adding to it. This pressure can cause self destruction or in my cases make these red diamonds. No I don't hate or resent you. If anything I will always be happy for you. That part of my heart I said you had. Believe me you still do. But now instead of being active and living it's preserved in these jars my collection of tiny red diamonds…
