Some of the fruit and vegetables from the allotment just tastes the same as you buy in the shops. The tomatoes from the allotment are the nicest, sweetest tomatoes I've ever tasted. You can't buy tomatoes that taste like this in this country. Crazy looking tho! Nice to eat raw and even nicer cooked with pasta and allotment garlic.
