Everyone, I want you to meet Harpo. He is my favourite tomato plant from this year.

All of the other tomato plants are about 6 times his size. Even the smallest out of those have about 15 to 20 tomatoes on them, and I’ve always harvested maybe two dozen from the rest already.

But Harpo? He’s worked all summer and busted his arse to grow those two wee tomatoes you see. He has a few more flowers that are trying to grow into tomatoes as well, but If they manage they will be tiny.

He’s trying so fucking hard. And he is doing it. He is doing it.

Some early morning gardening

This is one of my tomato plants out in front of the yellow shed. Look at that thing spreading out! I hoed around these guys yesterday and this one is two feet high already. 😮

On a larger scale 👇

The guys across the road are heading out to do some spraying this morning. A very nice day is happening here today.

I have to get out and continue on the shed door repairs. I will take pics. We have rain coming tomorrow afternoon so I want to get as far as I can. It is going well so far.

why is my tomato plant so menacing??? is this not a tree cryptid of sorts????

So. I bet you're all wondering how my plants have been, since I haven't written an update, and here they are!

The whole area is bright and green and so many plants are cramped together, here's some specific ones:

First is the tray of big tomato plants, second is the illegal tomato that has grown huge, third is my begonia flowering beautifully, and last is the two little tangerine trees getting out of the soil!

I'm at the point where I need to separate and move a lot of these plants, so I've set up my table with the most cramped pots, intent on separating them and putting them in their own little pots so they could keep growing. This took me a few hours but here are the results:

I didn't manage to separate all of them because I only had a limited amount of soil, but I'll take care of the rest soon. I'm pleased with how things are going! Everything doing fine except my onions and dwarf tomatoes but I'm not upset about it, there's always next year to figure that out.

I gave two neighbors my spare tomato plants. I love sharing plants of all kind it makes me feel like I am part of a community.
