celeste is practically bouncing out of her skin as she waits by the door, listening for footsteps up the stairs. she whips the door open the second she hears him on her floor, too excited to delay seeing him even another second. “teddy!” she runs to him and flings herself at him, holding on tightly and ignoring his luggage and anything else that might get between them. “i’m so happy you’re finally here,” she says, face pressed against his neck.

General Appearance: he’s so VAIN like ???? cares so MUCH about his appearance. dresses very nice, spends time on his hair, buys good shoes. his moms are not sure where he gets it from tbh like lucinda’s a little vain but not nearly this much

Personality: a spoiled little shit. he’s so loved and he knows it. snarky, witty. always one with a quick comeback. sharp like his parents. cracks about a million jokes about     being the an.ti chri.st

Special Talents: he’s a demon died like way, way too young. didn’t bargain his own soul—one of his parents offered their first born.

Who they like better: lucinda. she doesn’t encourage trouble, but she doesn’t discourage it either.

Who they take after more: liv. he’s too clever for his own good.

Personal Headcanon: leo brought him to lucinda! he was only five and leo was actually, genuinely angry that a kid that young had ended up in hell, especially through no fault of his own. leo’s not someone who likes drawing attention from anyone high up the chain, especially the very top, but this was something he would not stay quiet on. lucinda and liv were also pretty pissed and well, now they have a son.

they didn’t name him, but he also often jokes about how ‘devil’ is in his name. he thinks it’s funnier because they didn’t name him.

Braden and Zoe have been a packaged deal for as long as he can remember. Two peas in a pod, thicker than thieves, always down for whatever dumb thing the other suggested. He doesn’t know what life without Zoe looks like. When he thinks about his future, she’s by his side. No matter what, Zoe is there with him, taking on every adventure with him. Even when he’s got a girlfriend, it’s always Zoe he pictures.

Which is why he feels like such a fucking idiot when he finally realizes it’s not just because she’s his best friend. Somewhere along the way, he fell in love with her. He doesn’t know when and he doesn’t know how, especially  when he was pretty convinced she’d fallen into a category meant exclusively for people who have crossed into strictly non-romantic territory. But it makes so much sense at the same time. It was always going to be them, wasn’t it? Now he just has to make her understand.

He tries dropping hints, but it doesn’t seem to work. He doesn’t know if he’s being too subtle or if she’s intentionally not commenting on it. And it’s driving him crazy. So here is, watching a movie at her place on a Saturday instead of going to a party or doing something stupid with the boys. Because he’s trying. He’s making an effort. He’s listening to her nagging instead of brushing it off like usual. She has to see all the effort he’s putting in, just for her. Just to make her happy. Just to make her see his potential. Right?

Maybe they’re not meant to figure it out right now, but it’s okay. He has time. Everything leads to Zoe. And she’ll see that one day.

She closed her eyes, listening to the first demo for the song. She sat back in her seat, letting it wash over her. When it was over, she took a moment before opening her eyes, a huge smile on her face. “So I know we need to polish up a few things, but can I just say I love the backing vocals? They add this, I don’t even know how to describe it, almost dreamy quality.”
