Pokemon of the Week - Arcanine

Yay Arcanine!  This is probably one of my favorite Generation 1 pokemon.  It is just an awesome tiger-puppy!  As Growlithe it is just cute and adorable.  It doesn’t change much when it evolves, but you can add that it becomes majestic, fierce, and legendary?  And especially as Arcanine it just looks so fluffy and comfortable I just want to snuggle up to it for a nice lazy day nap, especially in winter, because you know it will be warm!

I think it has really solid and good stats all around.  Especially as I don’t tend to use legendaries on my teams, and only one pokemon on your team can mega evolve, this makes Arcanine a top pick for any of my teams!  I do wish its’ move pool was a touch bigger, but what can you do?  It has enough to make it great!

Not that anyone would need much help, but please go check on serebii.net to see what ideas they have put together for using it in competitive play!  And use an Arcanine, you won’t be sorry!
