Types of FRP sandwich panels
FRP sheets can be composites with many materials through adhesives. Commonly, core materials include foam (XPS, PET, PVC, PU, etc.), honeycomb (polypropylene), plywood, etc. Using different core materials can bring different application effects to GRP sandwich panels, such as foam core has advantages in thermal insulation, honeycomb core is lighter, and plywood has higher strength. Or different materials can be combined together as core materials to make the panel gain multiple advantages.
