July 29 - August 3, 2013 One thing I lost when I phased out Savvy (may she rest in pizza) was this strange dynamic with talking plants and animals. Dart the merboy fills the “otherworld” character type, but he doesn’t know fish languages. I miss how weird Savvy could get. I intended to use this flytrap as a recurring character but couldn’t think of anything good for it.. but you can spot it on the counter of the Grub stand in later comics!
