That said despite being the least favorite of all the Legendary Spirits (like Grumblemon and Gigasmon always end up in last place in all the popularity polls they enter) The Warrior Spirits of Earth are in a pretty good place in the digimon franchise

Frontier Grumblemon was the first boss archtype of the season and made a pretty good first impression. He beat up the main cast by himself a couple of times, stole their spirits and even when the main cast got their power ups they didn't automatically start winning and took them like three different encounters to take him down

He could summon Golemons using his own unique brand of magic

Ghost Game Gigasmon he saw like a movie trailer and thought is was real and OF COURSE decided he needed to bury humanity... as one does

like dude was a whole ass earthbender and started turning people to stone with his touch like dude was crazy

BeatBreak he got something not many side characters get bro got a tamer Fat tits Seraphy Naito. Something something plot plot he was jobber there to job. And everytime he fought I question why didn't he do any of those cool things the first fight

If in Ghost Game he was an earthbender then in BeatBreak he was a logia. Really showing off that regeneration being made of sand and all. Made earth constructs and sand clones

he even got a Xros Fusion with a legends arm.

I guess it would be called Gigasmon X2L ? (The L is for Ludomon)

Ancient Volcamon has it's descendants

so ya

doesn't get a fusion hybrid or transcendent hybrid form

least popular of the hybrids

...but

Has a descendant species

Gets a decent amount of showings

Has a tamer now

Got a Xros Fusion

Heck in one of the most recent polls it was in...Gigasmon wasn't in last place for once???

me and a friend of mine who I will simply call soap had a conversation on what alcoholic beverage the spirits would drink. Enjoy this bullshit.

so we’ve agreed on:

Agunimon- soap said a piña colada. An alternative option being one of those drinks you can set on fire.

lobomon- water.

Kumamon- hard vodka. On the rocks.

Kazemon- I personally think she’d like a sugary sweet drink. Or alternatively a champagne.

beetlemon- whiskey. Me and soap agreed on whiskey for him.

Grumblemon- A Mudslide. Since, y’know. Mud? Warrior of earth? Idfk man. Soap didn’t have ideas either.

Ranamon- I feel like she’d enjoy a good Bloody Mary. Soap agreed with me.

Arbormon- something mixed with soda. I feel like he’d enjoy a soda. (Honestly I had no ideas, neither did soap).

mercurymon- fucker would like red wine.

duskmon- he doesn’t drink. He quenches his thirst with fear /jkhedrinkswater

lowëmon- water.

Edit from the future oooooo: I actually talked with my mom yesterday about this subject (she has a wine fridge and like 100 million bottles of alcohol/j) and she gave her own suggestions

Arbormon- Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey

Grumblemon- Whiskey. That’s all she said XD

Ranamon- I think she said a Charlemagne (I have a bad memory, so I don’t really know)

duskmon- she didn’t say anything about a beverage for him, but my mom did disagree about him not drinking alcohol and sticking to water 😔

Late Pride Month Post, but fuck it.

Legendary Warrior Sexuality and Gender headcanons, let's go.

Agnimon - Already gender fucky. In the CD Drama, Agni stated that they used to be a girl digimon by the name of Okumimon. You can inteript this as you want, transmasc, gender questioning. I think that he's genderfluid. Okumimon is just what you call her when it's girl time. Especially with Aldamon being actualy bigender. Sexuality, up in the air. I'm leaning towards some type of aroace though. Agnimon does not give a single shit about dating or sex. They're here to burn your house down.

Wolfmon - He's one of the more straighter warriors. Look at this blonde edgy mf and tell me that he's not straight. Might be bi-curious. He doesn't mind kissing a guy every now and then and that's about how much queer I can make this guy.

Chakmon - Demi Girl. Fight me on this. We need more girl warriors and this is how you do it. She's not all too interested as Agnimon when it comes to dating but they lean towards girls. And purely they/them Korikakumon

Fairimon - Lesbian or Bi. I know in my heart that she loves women. She can have men if she wants to but ehhh, loose on that idea though.

Blitzmon - hear me out! He/Him lesbian Blitzmon. Butch knightly insect lady trying to protect his fairy. You understand? Also Bolgmon strictly uses it/its pronouns.

Loweemon - Gay. I can't see him dating women and he's just as cis as his brother.

Grottemon - Trans and it's mostly because of Gigasmon. He is so overly the top masculine, it feels like a transition goal. In fact, that's not his codpiece that we keep joking about. That's his packer. Plus Grottemon has a tight armor piece around his chest but not his back. Wonder what that could mean. Also gay.

Arbormon - Nonbinary! Let's gooo! Arbor uses any pronouns while Petaldramon uses they/them. Dress more femininely as dress are the very few apparel he can wear. She's pansexual. They love any and all equally.

Ranamon - Bisexual. Same reasoning as Fairimon is that she deserves all the women and men she wants. Maybe demi, as I have the headcannon that she's keeps baiting her fans with romantic gestures when in reality she'll never do in a heartbeat. She's mean like that.

Mercuremon - A cis men but non gender confirming to be sure. He does whatever the fuck he wants and you get to say nothing about it. Definitely bisexual, have you seen him. Sephirothmon's a proud she/it and that might be because it reminds me of Glados for whatever reason.

Duskmon - Aroace agender. Just the vibes man. Does not care for whatever nonsense you throw him in their way.

My idea behind this comic panel was to showcase more interactions between the corrupted legendary warriors and the non-corrupted legendary warriors since I wish we got more interactions between them all without half of them being the villains and half the good guys since they all have cool designs! I hope to do more interactions with them all, and this concept was initially Kazemon catching Kumamon from the beginning of the season, but I wanted to see it with Grumblemon instead since he is my favorite !
