Hit the mall Sunday only because the Nibbling needed a few things, they didn’t have what she needed but I had time to run into T&T to get some taro mochi as I hadn’t had any in months.

You were expected to wear a mask, which is fine, mine was already on. Then file in in an orderly fashion, past a woman with a temperature gun on a large tripod. Orderly fashion didn’t happen, people were shoving to get by me and its not like I was walking slow ( good knee day). Once in it was packed solid, I found the mochi and went to GTFO of there. Saw a huge ass line up to get to the till but spotted a temp check out by the area they sell cooked foods and only one person in line. Paid for my stuff and walked to the exit, which was blocked off. 

Walked around with people shoving by and not social distancing at all, couldn’t see anyway out and started having a fucking panic attack, found a woman who worked there and asked. She pointed me in the direction I came in, I asked if she was sure, she said yes. I walked back through the crowds and ofc, no way out.

Finally realized I had to squish pass the main check out line to all the check outs. Stood there confused, found someone else to ask, she directed me to squish past the people in the check out to get out. Holy fuck. If I didn’t have Covid then I do now.

Next we went to Michaels, I’d only been asking my brother to take me there for months. He finally does only because the Nibbing needs stuff and of course I have a lot less cash.

I stared at the Prisma Colour sadly lol, probably wouldn’t have gotten them anyway but blah. Instead I just got a small pad of watercolor paper, a few cheap acrylic paints and then my brother got me this X-Ray paper pad that was on sale.

I asked him about hitting up another spot I want to go to (I have a gift card XD) and he said half annoyed/half joking that ‘s not my Uber.

No shit, you’re my brother and it’d be damn awesome if you did that for me once in awhile to save my immune system. I can count on one hand how many times he’s driven me anywhere during the pandemic and its only been when I’ve really needed something. Like, I would love a day out somewhere that isn’t this neighborhood. Another park? a pumpkin patch? ANY other scenery at this point.

Another ramble

I am feeling embarrassed to be little right now...All someone did was DM to ask my age, but it somehow felt like an attack or something.

Hey, so I got 15 minutes of sleep last night. I think I’ll just punch the entire universe today.

My aunt was, apparently, pushing at mom that she wants to rent the other side of the duplex out when I wasn’t there (Friday has turned into bring-or-make-Oma-dinner night). Bitch, my grandma can’t even enter that side of the duplex, her sister’s death is still so fresh for her. And I don’t particularly WANT strangers living next to my 97yo grandmother, okay? There’s a connecting door between the living rooms. Yes, it can be locked, but. She wants to rent to the dude who does their yard. He’s nice and all but I don’t want ANYONE THERE.

My aunt was bitching that they’re “wasting money” but leaving it vacant. She can fuck right off. I’mma put my foot down on this one. While my grandma is alive, nobody’s renting out anything in the duplex. And I’ll fucking fight you on it.

Mom needs to get their brother on her side so they can just do a simple vote.

My aunt doesn’t want to work anymore, she wants to be a landlady. She has NO IDEA what goes into that, let alone how much harder it is when you’re your tenant’s NEIGHBOR. Not to mention, that’s not gonna cover her bills unless she’s reeeeeally careful.

Mom’s thinking of just signing over the duplex when the time comes, instead of making my aunt buy her out. Part of me wants to make my aunt buy her out anyway, but a larger part of me just wants ties cut. Once my grandmother passes, I’m not intending on seeing a whole lot of my aunt.

She was telling me last week that she was “hoping we’d move to the Pacific northwest” for mom’s retirement. She knows that’s the plan, anyway. Can we...can we just not give her our address?
