No that's okay mum. It's not like today was a really important and big day for me, and maybe even a casual question about how it went would have been nice.

Far better to just moan because I came in to say hello to you when I got home because I was talking over the tv. Because godforbid you press the damn pause button and acknowledged me. Whatever.
