Before I started this blog I had another one, where I just reblogged pretty pictures. Then one day it occurred to me to look for Armenians and Armenian content. I didn't find that much, Armenian tag was littered with Kim K pictures. So I started this blog to try to somehow educate the Armenian teenage wasteland that was tambalanots. I came across an Armenian tricolor picture that had reblog if you're Armenian on it, with about 500 notes. Naturally I just followed everyone, and holly shit was that a mistake? It was the same content over and over again. So I started filtering. Soon I was down to about 200. By this time I had already found harpy, chotai, bitchesandhomologues and lovelolo who unlike "rebloggers" were content creators and had a unique identity of their own and I learned a lot from them. I intended this blog to provide the teenage wasteland with Armenian content and help them not to loose their Armenian identity. And I did that for a while, but gradually this blog turned into a personal blog that it is today and I love it. I was able to transition to this state, because blogs like armenianhighland, armeniathemotherland kamavor-fedayin and historyofarmenia filled the void that I saw needed filling. It is thanks to them that I can be my grumpy self and not worry about teenagers getting their dose of "Armenianess". And as a personal message to the above mentioned blog owners. Thank you for your service, thank you for your content and don't feel bad when from time to time grumpy old me corrects you, because believe me, I want nothing more than for you to grow and prosper.
I understand we want to spread awareness about Kessab, but posting fake or unrelated pictures is not going to help. As far as we know residents of Kessab were safely relocated to a Latika(?) and there were no beheadings.
