I'm an excellent grunt worker. You give me a menial task, I'll do it for however long it needs doing; give me instructions, set me on my way, I'll get it done just as you specify. But I absolutely CANNOT make executive decisions and figure shit out on my own. If you expect me to just learn by doing and pick up on things with no guidance, I'm totally lost; I feel like a child, I get confused, I'm afraid I'll doing something wrong or break something or get in trouble. I'm a grown ass adult and I'm afraid of getting in trouble... I feel like if I do something I'm not told to do, it'll be the wrong thing, like my boss will disapprove no matter what I do; catch-22, if I do nothing then I should have done something, but if I do something then I should have done nothing. Damned if I do, damned if I don't. I feel like an idiot, I'm stressed out

idk just ventingi guess but i feel like udnerappreciated a lot idk they know i do a lot of grunt work behind the scenes but they dont see it all and its hard to feel appreciated ione when its the sort of work that no one sees
