Out Today: Program #03 - A Mixtape of Rare & Unreleased Beats It marks Grup Ses return to the mixtape trilogy with the final episode focussing on productions made between 2008 and 2021.  Grup Ses project dates back to 2007 which at the time focused on v/vm style edits and breakcore infused mash ups. Starting from 2008 Grup Ses started to build a version of Stones Throw & Brainfeeder influenced beatmaking mixed with a touch of humour. Kenne beide nicht. Also so ganz und alles. Bei den Guts ist „And the living is easy“ bestimmt nicht nur bei mir sofort ein Tagesohrwurm. Habe mich aber noch nie mit der Combo beschäftigt. Platte geht auf die Want-List. „Grup Ses“, eine türkische Hip-Hop/Rap/Electronic/Ethno Band. Trigger aber sowas von gesetzt. Was für Kaufanreize an einem Dienstag in der Früh. Disclaimer: Was das hier ist? Nachdem ich 2018 diesen kleinen Kalender gekauft hatte, kam mir die Idee, diesen auch wirklich zu „nutzen“. Was ich dann in 2019 auch umsetzte. Außer jeden Tag drauf zu schauen, ein Kalenderblatt abzureißen, nahm ich mir vor, das jeweilige Album am gleichen Tag auch zu hören. Gleichzeitig schaue ich nach ob ich das Album in meiner Sammlung habe und wenn es mir gefällt, oder ich tatsächlich „schwerwiegende“ Lücken in meinem Regal entdecke, dann kauf‘ ich das Album nach.
