hey hey hey do you think I could add the Norse väsen Gruvrået / Gruv-Maja / Gruvfrun / Bergfrun to the miner!kai au-
so I got the book so here's a summary:
Gruvrået is the spirit who resides in a mountain and its mines, she's both feared and highly respected as she can bring the lucky to better mining places and warn of danger. This is also who I was thinking about with offerings to the Mine Sprits, to Gruvrået a new dress is a good offering.
But she can also twist and wrap the vision so the miners can't find back to a new found goldmine (both literal and figurative? is that the word? anyways) as she sees these treasures as her own. It also depends on her mood, how well respected and treated she and the mountain is, to whistle (there's the Norse part), scream and yell, throw rocks or curse is sure ways to piss her off.
She's usually seen as a very elegant pale woman in a grey dress, but if you see her in a black dress it's a sure Death Omen and the miners would hurry out of the mines as soon as she because they'd know one or more of them would soon die.
I'm not sure how to translate the last part of this, but she's easily annoyed and languid?? Not much for seducing.
I'd obviously have to change some things if I added Gruvrået to this au, but I want others thoughts on it too?
