The decision has tobe unanimous. “No,” Dean says.Sam gawks. “Dean,think about it. No hunting, no bleeding half to death, no burning the bodies ofloved ones! We can do whatever we want!” But Dean shakeshis head, doesn’t budge.Cas wets his lips. He tries to gainenough courage to speak. It’s like trying to swim against the tide,unpleasant, but it needs to be done. He’d never forgive himselfotherwise. “You should go,” he finally presses out.

Dean turns towards him, eyes wide anddesperate. “Cas,” he says, and it sounds like a beg.“Youwill be free,” Cas reasons. “Paradise and freedom. Dean,you deserve that.”But Dean only shakes his head morevehemently. There’s a wet track on his cheek, glistening in thelight. “No monsters,” he croaks. “Means no you. So I’m sayingno.” When Cas closes his eyes, he can see it. Hesees a Dean who laughs without the worry etched into the lines aroundhis mouth. A Dean whose only struggle is to keep the unhealthy diethe keeps from clogging his arteries. A Dean with a house and agarden, and a ring on his finger and a baby in his arms. Heopens his eyes again. The portal is gone. A shoulder brushes againsthis, and he mourns that Dean. Dean – this Dean – framesCas’ face with his hands, wipes away his tears. There’s a warmth inhis eyes that endeavors to melt the ice around Cas’ heart. “Worthit,” Dean insists.

Cas is a doctor being abused by his boyfriend (I think Alastair or Azazel?) and Dean is a police officer who wants to be S.W.A.T. They met through Jo (Dean's friend and coworker), and Dean kind of saves Cas a couple times until they start a relationship. Dean's ex is a jerk too. Please someone, help me!

Since the anon brought it up, I think he would like to participate in some kind of sport? Or maybe just as the narrator for the Quidditch games? But I also think he would be a bit of a nerd and enjoys to spend some of his time at the library.

I can imagine that he’s athletic but would do other sports that don’t require him to risk his life on a broom. There are bound to be other ways of doing sports than Quidditch! *lol* (I imagine that Dean’s from an old pureblood family but he’s into muggle stuff. So maybe he gets some people to play football with him.)

And I agree about the nerd stuff and hanging out in the library!
