@grxndrexper It should have just been a normal night of vigilantism and then bed before work in the morning, but when ever did things actually go to plan? She definitely did not expect some guy showing up and all but chucking the last one of the guys she was fighting away. "Any real reason you wanna ruin my fun tonight?" Mara asked sizing him up, trying to figure out if he was a threat to her or not.

Dead Mountain

It had been an age since her home had been filled with the sounds of life. Now it was all but dead. No hammers rung, no harps play their tunes. The mountain was dead. Nothing more than a graveyard. Even the Dale was abandoned. Sighing she leaned up against the rampart and wondered not for the first time, why she had bothered to stay alone. @grxndrexper

Ariana was sleeping soundly as always, having snuggled close to Death over the night and stuck close to him as he gave her exatly the comfort she needed to have a good rest without any nightmares.

She was however woken up as she felt the bed shift, opening her eyes ever so slightly to see him get up, no doubt to get ready and leave like he did every morning. he had a lot of work to do after all. However today, she wasn’t quite ready to let himleave just yet, as became apparent when she managed to grab his wrist before he could move away any further.

“Don’ go...five more minutes...” She mumbled sleepily, attempting to tug him back to bed.

@grxndrexper gets a starter

“Hi Percy... Just me today, Albus’ friend stopped by so he’s busy.” Ariana murmured as she gave the young goat a few treats.  It did make her a little bit sad that it seemed that her brother didn’t have a lot of time for her anymore since he met his new friend, but she couldn’t bring herself to mention it to him since she had already robbed him of his freedom, of the opportunity to travel around.

Chuckling as the young animal bleats affectionately, she happily pets the goat and allows it to distract her a little from her sadness though she knows it might come back soon enough. It isn’t easy when you feel sad all the time even when you don’t want to. She’s pulled from her thoughts when she notices the goat seemingly looking to something behind her, and she tilts her head slightly in consusion before looking over her shoulder.

Within seconds, her face has lit up completely and the smile on her face could light up a whole continent. “You’re back!” Ariana exclaimed, appearing ecstatic as she scrambled to her feet and practically pounces on him as she hugged him tightly. “I missed you...”
