What life lesson, or mistake, was hardest for you to learn? Why?

The people you can rely on most in your time of need are not the same as the people whose company you most enjoy. People will stun you, in good ways and bad, when push comes to shove.

 If you could teach something, what would it be?

Gender Studies, Sociology, or Microbiology

What is one thing on your bucket-list that you want to do successfully in your lifetime? Why?

I would like to live somewhere very pretty, and be able to share it with people. Surrounded by aesthetics does wonders for morale and imagination, but if I cannot share it, it makes me depressed.

If you could visit one planet, without any complications, which would it be?

Pluto because fuck you its a planet. No but really probably Venus because its where I'd be most likely to collect evidence of past life to bring back and make a bunch of astronauts jump up and down and hug each other.

What is one small thing somebody could do to make your day?

Get me out of the house.

Which is most important to you in a partner: money, looks, or humor?

Humor. Its the only one of the three that is necessary, I think, for fun/happiness.

If you could meet anyone (living or dead) from the past, who would it be and why?

I would like to meet my grandmother when she was younger. Alternatively, Roxy. I could use her support right now.

What is your greatest advice to give anyone?

Recognize what emotions keep you stagnant and which ones move you forward. Sometimes you need help gaining the latter; Seek it, or you will fester in the former.

Do you believe animals have feelings (like humans)? Why or why not?

Aside from personal experience, it baffles me from a scientific standpoint to assume anything otherwise, not just because of the massive amounts of observational evidence that this is the case, but the idea that humans are somehow separate from other animals, mammals, prime apes, however specific you want to get. I used to think this was of thinking was popular because of religious contexts, since many religions revolve around humanity and/or state that other creatures and elements of the world are here for humans. The number of atheists I've met that feel the same way, however, suggests to me that the religious perspective is not a cause but a symptom. I also don't understand why it would be lumped into two categories- humans vs everything else- when the difference between a caterpillar and a crow is at least as equal if not vaster a gulf than that of the intelligence gap between humans and dolphins or the great apes. tl;dr  yes.

If you could be reborn as any other living thing on the planet (other than a human) what would you be?

A tree or an otter. The former because what a nice, long, zen existence, the latter because shit they always look happy.

If you had to choose one of the seven deadly sins to constantly feel, deal, and live with for the rest of your life, which would it be? (pride, envy, gluttony, lust, wrath, greed, or sloth?)

Gluttony. I think it has the least propensity to hurt yourself and others in most circumstances.

TENTATIVE PLANS FOR THIS WEEKEND

~7:30pm tonight: arrive in newark, go to karaoke with kait at a place called woody's (if anyone wants to join us let me know and ill get an exact address) tomorrow: will be in central jersey all day, then in the evening driving to baltimore w/ colz and co ill be back in central jersey from baltimore somewhere between sat night/sun morning (not sure yet) then kait & i are driving back up to RI sometime like sunday afternoon/evening if you live somewhere in this general vicinity and want to see me i can do my best but i also promised kg personal hangout times GOD ITS SO HARD TO SEE EVERYONE ;___; jaz i know you mentioned wanting to hang let me know if it's doable with this plan sorry a lot of this was decided last minute!
