What is your OC's biggest regret? Did you create the OC's to be like yourself, did they end up being like yourself, or are they very different from you? In what situation was your OC the most calm they’ve ever been?
ok listen here. you only get a pass on asking me the regret question bc ur my bestfriend, that doesn't mean i'm happy about it >:( answering for eloriel cousland again bc she's the love of my life and she deserves it.
what is your oc's biggest regret?
you knew what i'd answer with when you sent this! although eloriel is generally able to live in the here & now rather than regret the past, of course she'll always regret what happened to her family at highever, & what happened at the battle of denerim. she'll always wonder if there could've been another way.
did you create the ocs to be like yourself, did they end up being like yourself, or are they very different from you?
not as in a self-insert or anything, but eloriel & i are similar in a lot of ways, but differ in others. as far as personality, she's an isfp & i'm an infp. she's more practical, where i'm more abstract. she focuses on the present, i'm always stuck on my past or worried about my future. she enjoys the little things, i get lost in my thoughts. we can both take time to make important decisions, but she's comfortable with being spontaneous & taking risks, where i am not. i think that's why i draw so much strength from her.
in what situation was your oc the most calm they've ever been?
i can't really think of a specific situation. but i like to think of those years she's in hiding after the blight; sitting out on the porch, watching her son play with crumpet the mabari, knowing that the blight is over. it's bittersweet ofc, because alistair isn't there to see it, but she feels calm for the first time in so long.
