My nieces and nephews dragged me out into the snow this morning and have only now allowed me to return inside, albeit covered in snow. I will be answering a few personal owls as I sit by the fire and warm up before starting my syllabus. I should have some time to answer any other owls. The wedding was quite beautiful. It was a very enjoyable day, but it was wonderful to finally see Professor Snape and Harry together and happy.
I am looking forward to the holidays, and the time to spend with my family. It's hard to come by anymore. It looks like Christmas for Hogwarts will be white, as usual.

Hello, Professor. I am most excellent today, thank you. I am preparing for my trip to spend the holidays with my boyfriend; I am oscillating between terrified and elated, as we've never had a holiday together. :) What types of books do you enjoy? I lean towards books in wintertime, too, usually fantasy, but have decided to reread "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "Totto-chan: Little Girl at the WIndow" before month's end, as they are favorites for readying for the new year. I enjoy most any type of decent literature, especially classics. The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Totto-chan: Little Girl at the Window are both wonderful books.

I do not mind your question. The one thing I miss most about Albus is his presence, his friendship. I miss being able to go to his office to complain about the latest mischief the trio had gotten in to, or the trouble caused by Severus' snakes.

My favorite part of the holiday season would either be spending time with my family or the solitude of a nearly empty Hogwarts. My least favorite would be the amount of students (and sometimes staff) that end up in the Hospital Wing with the Wizarding Flu or a simple cold.

My fall term final examinations are finally over and done with Professor, and I just wanted to drop an owl your way to let you know I feel your pain regarding exams. I took five of them this semester and I'll have six next semester, as well as at least ten papers. Be well and breathe easy, the holidays are coming on fast Professor :) ~Bethany

The experience between taking the examinations and giving them are completely different. I would say that taking them is far more stressful. It sounds like you have a busy year; I hope you aren't stressing too much.
I have no more examinations to worry about until O.W.L.s which are a few months away. Breathing is easy for now.
