Hello Headmistress McGonagall! Are things less hectic at Hogwarts now that everything seems to be getting back to normal after the *ahem* incident with the former-Professor Snape and Ms. Granger? My apologies for the delay in my response. Things have become considerably less hectic at Hogwarts, but the school is still busy. It is bound to happen in a castle brimming with adolescent witches and wizards.
I hope you are resting after your bout of colds. Rest can aid in recovery, I've found. I myself am doing quite well, busy, but well. Thank you.
I've never been one for Valentine's Day, but the students are. As it stands, the hallways are decorated and some of the seventh years have charmed the suits to serenade people walking by.

Afternoon Heasistress. There has been so much going on with Harry and Snape (that's the nicest thing I can think to call him at this point) that I haven't gotten a chance to owl you in quite some time. How have you been lately? I hope that with everything that has been occurring lately that you've been alright. How is your *ahem* relationship going? Are you optimistic about the new term? It has been some time, but I am glad to hear from you any time. All of the changes at Hogwarts the past few days have been stressful, for lack of a better phrase, but I suppose I am doing alright.
Ever since I was appointed Headmistress, Madam Pomfrey has been keeping an eye on me. Should anything happen, I think she will know before I do. My health has been fine, especially as flu season comes to a close. I do thank you for your concern.
Professor Flitwick and I are doing fine despite the large amount of time teaching requires. He asks me to send his sentiments and to inquire after your health.
I am fairly optimistic about this term, although I do have a few reservations. Hogwarts has seen three Headmasters this year alone; very unusual.

Hello Professor, how was the wedding? I'm envious that you got to see the magic of Professor Snape and Harry's wedding in person, but I do hope that you enjoyed yourself :) Other than that, are you looking forward to the holidays? The wedding was quite beautiful. It was a very enjoyable day, but it was wonderful to finally see Professor Snape and Harry together and happy.
I am looking forward to the holidays, and the time to spend with my family. It's hard to come by anymore. It looks like Christmas for Hogwarts will be white, as usual.

My fall term final examinations are finally over and done with Professor, and I just wanted to drop an owl your way to let you know I feel your pain regarding exams. I took five of them this semester and I'll have six next semester, as well as at least ten papers. Be well and breathe easy, the holidays are coming on fast Professor :) ~Bethany

The experience between taking the examinations and giving them are completely different. I would say that taking them is far more stressful. It sounds like you have a busy year; I hope you aren't stressing too much.
I have no more examinations to worry about until O.W.L.s which are a few months away. Breathing is easy for now.
