Do you think Cersei is going to try and get Sansa on her side in some way? I’m assuming Jaime told her what Olenna said, so she may know Sansa didn’t intentionally kill Joffrey. Do you think she’d try to pit Sansa against Dany and use that? I feel like it would come up in the convo maybe.
i’m sure it would come up in conversation and cersei would surely try to get that to happen, but it wont. above everything sansa loves and trusts her family. even if she is wary of daenerys at first or if she remains wary of her the entire time, if jon put his trust in daenerys then sansa will trust jon and at least give daenerys a chance.
and sansa doesn’t trust cersei at all. in any way. she knows just how manipulative she can be and at this point in her life, sansa has seen through so much strife and so much manipulation, cersei wont outwit her.

wait they were only on the ground for a year together??/
i agree btw just never was sure about the timeline lmao
under a year in fact! the dropship landed in september 2149 and praimfaya happened in spring 2150! the timeline’s a bit fuzzy for season 4 but it’s certain s1-s4 all happened in less than a year
still people are way too harsh on him considering his wife was lying. The fact that he got full custody of his kids is VERY telling.
Really sadly, and really unfortunately, that’s not always true in regards to someone getting full custody of their children.
I can’t even think about some of the unbelievably fucked up shit I saw working at a family law firm for only one single summer and handling divorce proceedings and custody battles with out getting incredibly angry...
We had one case where a 3 year old child ~somehow~ ended up up in coma with severe brain trauma and massive internal bleeding in his head while in the custody of him mom and her bf (they suspected he beat the kid with a sock full of soap bars because he had been known to do the same to pets in the past). But the court still wouldn’t grant custody to the father.
We had a 13 year old boy who testified to a judge that his father gave him access to alcohol and controlled substances, and also encouraged him to commit suicided, but the father was still granted unsupervised visits.
There was a case with a mom and daughter where the mom CLEARLY had some kind of munchausen by proxy disorder. We had an entire HUGE file cabinet (like, probably at least 3 or 4 feet long) of hospital records and emergency room visit reports for this little girl and she wasn’t even 10 years old. But the court refused to let her be released into the custody of her father.
Not that anything G(@)ry Oldm(@)n did or didn’t do is anywhere near this. It’s just that family court isn’t as cut and dry as some people may think... A lot of the time, family court judges won’t seriously consider accusations of domestic violence or abuse at all unless the alleged abuser HAS been tried and convicted in a criminal court or the alleged victim has been granted a restraining order or something other order of protection. Being granted or denied custody isn’t decisive evidence of guilt or innocence.

Im so Tired of leaks. Like I honestly wish people would just give it a rest and let ppl be surprised and watch live. They're so hard to avoid and I hate it. Like WHY do people do that shit i dgi.
I agree. And for the record for my followers, if any legitimate leaks do surface, I will make a post announcing it and then I will tag all posts about it afterward as "leak spoilers." I won't spoil you guys :)

Not if they do it in a parallel sort of way. I just don't see how both of them could survive the series. I feel like one of them (at least) has to die. And it's gotta be one or both of them that defeats the NK too imo. I mean I don't want them to die obviously lol but it would be a little odd if they both survived this and have a happy ending. The ending has to be bittersweet, which I believe is the word GRRM used to describe it.
GRRM has repeatedly compared his intended ending for GoT to be an allusion to LotR ( not without its obvious differences, though ) . He wants a bittersweet story , not a tragedy , even though we’ve suffered a LOT of sorrow throughout the show , the pace and tone has quite clearly changed over the last season , we see more of the love story coming to a head instead of the never ending sequences of death and misery. they’ve built this story, this WORLD and there’s no more building to be done, it’s the climax, this is where it all converges into what it was meant to convey.
I firmly believe that neither of them will die , not because it’s what I want to happen ( it is, idealism hasn’t really ever convinced my outlook though ) , but because this is their song, their story , two separate ( parallel ) paths that finally cross and continue on in the same direction . to remove one half of the whole de-legitimizes a lot of what he’s trying to say, undoes everything that’s been done.
i GET the fear as well as the belief that this is what has to happen but you also have to consider that he’s spent twenty odd years on telling this tale and an ending as predictable as everything GoT has lead us to believe isn’t how he’d end it.
@swansansa Lauren has such an amazing blog. It’s full of positivity. Perhaps one of the most pro-Sansa/Sansa positive/Sansa defensive blogs out there so I love it :)
@winterflell I have only just followed but I am so happy the anon sent this blog in because it looks fantastic. Full of different fandoms that I love. I will enjoy following this blog :)
@sansarya Ah Lena is one of my absolute favourites on tumblr. She makes incredible edits and her other posts are also amazing. I love her love for both Stark sisters. So many people only love one or the other but Lena has such love for both and so my dash is full of Sansa and Arya. And she’s just lovely and wonderful to talk to. She’s an angel <3
@gryffinoir Elizabeth’s blog was recommended to me a while ago and I can’t remember who it was who recommended but I want to hug them because her blog is quality. Not only is it multifandom, but it’s also multishipper so you don’t find hate on her blog. Full of amazing content from a lovely person :)
Send me a ❤️ + a URL on ANON & I’ll compliment that blog.
I am HERE for anti trump everything, but I think that reply on your post was trying say like why does everything have to be political, not questioning whether it was political or not. Which like soz but no one should be silenced rn. Bring on the anti trump everything!
I know what you’re saying! However, my thought process is this: I understand that people are frustrated about things like Super Bowl commercials being politicized, but honestly we’re living in a very charged and dangerous time. Things are political, especially right now, and it’s part of privilege to not have to think about that daily. Major corporations actually have the funding and influence to reach people, and IMO, it’s better to use that power to bring attention to social injustice and maybe even make people a little uncomfortable than to make people feel good about the time they drank Coke as a kid with their grandfather, tbh. With everything happening in the US regarding refugees, white supremacists, “The Wall,” etc., we can’t afford to be comfy and cozy right now. Self care is important, super important, but “turning away” as part of that self care is an option that I personally am not willing to consider.
