By outing predators on tumblr, I DO actually mean callouts, albeit contacting the police should be a top priority. I added the qualifier 'MIGHT' because sometimes it really does save people in immediate danger. I have also heard of it making is more difficult to prosecute dangerous people, and of course you could be ruining an innocent person's life. It's hard to know what the right thing to do is on a case-by-case basis- I certainly don't - so I added the qualifier as an admission of ignorance.

Yeah, I agree with that as long as the callouts are backed with evidence so innocent people don’t get brainlessly mobbed on a rumor. We’re not protecting anyone if we do that, but we definitely might if we know for sure and warn people to keep away.

If it happens and it's not something forced out, I don't see why not. Spiritual and psychological kin are equally valid identities, so it makes little difference to me. I can't make any promises, though.

Well, the most basic way of saying this is that I see my fictionkin identity as originating from how my brain is wired rather than reincarnation.The more detailed version of this is that I do not have memories of any sort of past life, but I found such an uncanny resemblance in personality, reactions, and speech patterns (and physical resemblance, I suppose) that it wasn't long before I began privately thinking of myself as Jade. And this was well before I knew about fictionkin or even believed otherkin was a thing.Although, the weird thing is that I don't see my theriotype, which I see as more spiritual, as a reincarnation either. I just see it as a "core of my being" deal. I guess the reason I don't see My fictotype as something like that is just that it's just literally me as I am now. Just, all of me. All of it.Yeah, hope this makes sense. :)

your posts about 'uncle randy' make me so happy. as a funeral major it makes me really upset when people treat cadavers with disrespect. you said it perfectly, and the death care industry could use more people like you and i :) xx

Thank you. Not many lay people know what it’s like working with cadavers, so I think it’s important for those of who do work with them to share our experiences. The dead may not be here anymore, but their bodies represent everything they were as much as they do for the living. And so, to truly appreciate the living for who they are, we have to respect the dead as well. They entrusted us with their bodies for a reason after all.

I know that it is a thing for people to dehumanize cadavers whether because they are trying to cope with facing death before them or because they simply do not understand the sanctity of what these donors have done. But I have hope that eventually everyone will understand why there is no reason to be afraid and see them indeed as human gifts.

Mask of Creation is definitely the most beautiful mask I've ever seen.

It’s nice that they seem to be going back to the old 2001 feel. And the sets look nice based on the leaked product images.

But other than that, can’t really say much else until we know more.

Would you hate me for my gender?

HECK NO!!!!!!!! Why on Earth would I?????? I thought I’ve made it clear several times on my blog that I’m in full support of trans and non-binary people as well as gender equality for both males and females.

But if my fandom stuff has drowned it all out, then let me make it clear that I firmly believe that gender identity is something only the individual can feel and to force a gender on someone when they say differently is really really shitty!

So, please don’t be afraid to show your gender around me, okay? :)
