Oohhh... thank you! I went back to reshade a little while ago. I was having some issues w/gshade.
It's a preset I have been working on since Oct 2025. I change and add things all the time on it. It's heavy. If you'd like it, send me a message. I am always open to sharing. 😊 If a few people want to try it out, I can post it. It does use the latest Immerse shaders (or close to the most recent).
Is your screenshots only taken with gshade or are they edited outside of the game ? If they are I need to deets , your screenshots are beautiful .

I was being a little nosey on discord (I may actually like it now) and wanted to try out the NGL(nice guy) lighting shader that came with gshade.
Well, with Sims 4, you can’t cause it’s directx9. We can use the NGL lamps shader though. It has 4 lamps you can turn on - change the color temp, positioning, shadow settings.Just wanted to see what it looked like and it’s actually pretty neat. These pics aren’t the best but after about 30 minutes this is what I got.
I’ve been trying since march to find a Gshade that I like and haven’t had any luck so far. So much so that I gave up and uninstalled Gshade. However, I keep running across your screenshots and I instantly love yours. Could you verify if the Gshade is Luminescent the one used in Running with the wolves?

Hello! I'm so sorry to bother you! I love your screenshots so I wanted to try your gshade. However, I have no idea where to put the sliders and textures folder, and haven't been able to figure out where those are in tutorials. Would you be able to help out with that? Heyy... I can help you. Do you have a recent version of Gshade or one of the earlier versions? At some point the install path was split up.
If you have a later version, the shaders and textures folders are in a Gshade folder on your C: Drive, here: This PC > Local disk (C:) > Program Files > Gshade > ghsade-shaders.
The shaders in the download: Copy and paste those, but do not overwrite. If the shader you already have works with your version of Gshade, keep it.

Hi beautiful, how are you? I've download your amazing gshade preset, but it came with 2 MXAO options turned on for me, is that right? it doesn't look right, like I have really dark and kinda ugly shadows, not smooth like yours at all, so I was wondering if you could please tell which one is the "correct" one to have on and share your MXAO settings so I can check if mine is the same? thank you in advance ♥
