what gshade do you use? it’s so nice!

Oohhh... thank you! I went back to reshade a little while ago. I was having some issues w/gshade.

It's a preset I have been working on since Oct 2025. I change and add things all the time on it. It's heavy. If you'd like it, send me a message. I am always open to sharing. 😊 If a few people want to try it out, I can post it. It does use the latest Immerse shaders (or close to the most recent).

So @xldkx posted some awesome pictures with some new shaders from Reshade 4 and I ended up getting that and playing with it (which was not what I wanted/needed to do).

I was going to use my gameplay reshade as a base, but I kinda ended up working from scratch. I need to edit the MXAO because it’s too dark, but it’s like... Early morning and I haven’t gone to bed yet (I work evening shifts and they mess up my sleep schedule every three weeks) so I’ll get to that eventually.

Still. i do kind of like it. I do look at the first image and sort of feel like it needs more. No clue what it needs more of, my brain is feeling that helpful.

Once I get the MXAO sorted out more, I’ll try taking some pictures and editing them how I normally would. That’s my benchmark for any reshade; if it looks wonky with my PS actions and I have to redo them too much, I won’t use it (because I’m lazy and don’t want to fiddle with PS all the time).

Can I ask what your DOF settings are usually? I use your reshade preset but your photos are so much crisper and the DOF just seems better, with a little more in focus while still blurring the background nicely. I've tried adjusting the settings myself but it doesn't seem to actually change anything on screen. Your screen shots are absolutely beautiful every time and I do LOVE your preset, so thank you for sharing! <3

First, thank you so so much!! You are so sweet!

Usually, my DOF is set at default settings with auto-focus/mouse-driven enabled. With that enabled, I can choose the center focus point and zooming out helps it to not blur too much of the center. CinematicDOF or ADOF are the 2 I use the most.The most recent photos are using DOF settings from another preset (that I cannot remember right now).

My shared presets are older ones that I was using about a year or so ago. I have since made a couple of new presets based on shaders/settings of other presets that I like. These I have not shared.

The crispness is not just reshade; it can only do so much. I edited my graphic rules file (the one in the bin folder) to allow for higher detail to show on my sims all the time and on objects and to allow a high texture map (4096 instead of the 1024 that EA changed it to). And last April I got a new graphics card.

I think I might have sorted my reshade out to a point where I’m decently happy with it.

And before you say it, I know, the shots are fabolous aren’t they? (The UI was also visible in the one where you can see the cursor. The one with the blank walls and bad lightning was mostly lazyness, but it does show how it’d look so y’know... it was totally on purpose?)

The bottom two I ran through my normal actions to get an idea of how they’d look. I might fiddle with it more. I might copy it and make a slightly darker version for night time. But for now I think I’m content.

I was going to make a gameplay reshade initially... This... Is not that. Oh well. I do already kind of have one though so, it’s fine?

Are you playing ESO with like Reshade or ENBs? Or do you edit your screenshots a lot since they look very colorful
