milo launches his mobile app with a press of his thumb to the cracked screen of his phone. the interface is rather simple, nothing fancy and certainly not as stylized as it could be, but the purpose of the application is simple: it sends messages much faster than a running satyr can. there’s a larger group chat and an option for people to send private messages to each other if they wish. the application even boasts a simple instagram-style photo-sharing tab, for those that miss taking selfies.

Maddox continued to rummage through Jasper's belongings with the guidance of his journal. It leads him to some parchment that the previous demigod received from Aurea when they were in Alexandria. Without much hesitation, the new son of Demeter read the writing from the paper, trying to understand its contents. [ MADDOX READS THE SCROLL OF PROTECTION ]

sat cross-legged on kit's bed, ragnor unreeled the scroll of detect magic he'd brought from agathys and began his reading in attempt to learn the spell it described.

ragnor begins dissecting the scroll he obtained from agathys, poring over its rich, arcane knowledge. it takes him a few attempts to hone it just right but once he’s absorbed all the magic from it, he notices pulses of arcane energy coming off of some items in kit’s room. they were always there, stored away during downtime but now they’re obvious in ragnor’s eyes.

With Jasper's help, Corinth spends an afternoon planting in his backyard. Sunflower seeds in fresh soil, nursed with water, all of which were collected from Demeter's garden. With his light manipulation and Jasper's hand, Corey wonders what will grow.

with jasper’s help and a generous helping of light and water, the seeds sprout rapidly. the sunflower seeds grow to be sunflowers, a patch of them now taking up a square of his garden.

JARED opens the scroll he purchased from AGATHYS and attempts to learn the MAGE ARMOR spell.

as you glean the rich knowledge of the scroll, you learn of an arcane way to defend yourself without a physical shield. a few attempts for practice and you seem to have the skill down-pat.
