Manufactured Landscapes Coffee Table by gt2P
This is the Manufactured Landscapes Coffee Table of the Imaginary Geographies furniture series by the Chilean design office gt2P (great things to people). This table has a black, flat surface made of polished Calavera Black Basalt, surrounded with Chilean Lenga wood, also known as Patagonia Cherry. Around the black Basalt, the wood is shaped in steep mountain like curves, disappearing into the flat wooden surface of the table. This shapes are inspired by the Chilean Andes, which are high in the north and descend gradually to the south, till they disappear.
