| Don't Justify | • I want to talk about something we hear about all the time--and that's attraction and our idea of what it means to be attractive.We have all come across people in life who immediately we define as "attractive" people because they fit the ideal "beauty" type. I'm sure many of us would agree that Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie are attractive people, but what really makes someone attractive to other people?The most attractive people in life in my opinion, are not the ones who are perfect. They are the ones who are confident in who they are despite their imperfections. It takes insane confidence to be able to look at your flaws and accept them as they are, and capitalize on what makes you great. The second you justify yourself to someone who criticizes you, is the second you lose your power. I know there are times when I recently received a negative comment from someone and I felt the need to justify it, or downplay it like I didn't do it on purpose so that they wouldn't mock me. I look back on times when I justified myself and realized that there were so many ways I could have handled them differently. The secret to attraction and confidence ( to me) is a person's ability to recognize their flaws & openly embrace them before anyone has the opportunity to do it for them. Truly attractive people are not perfect, they're relatable, they're gracious and confident in their flaws and their imperfections just the same. #GrettaVitta .
