Staffed a local horror con this weekend and completely forgot how weird some people can be in the horror scene.

Like we all agree that horror is super queer right? Explain to me why one of the other volunteers misunderstood me saying we should have a burlesque show as saying we should have a drag show, and then proceed to pull the classic transphobe “idk I think guys should be guys and girls should be girls”.

Like first off… wrong art form.

Second, clearly he’s out here watching horror with his eyes glued shut, we litTERALLY HOSTED A CAST MEMBER OF SLEEP AWAY CAMP YOU LOSER.

Thankfully my other table mate came back later and it was fine, but like Jesus????

And then some other dude was making crass comments about one of the heads of staff because she had on a bustier style top (and looked great in it!!)
