new playthings - harley beck maddox [ft. catalina avery]
So the others had come out to play. What a glorious day to make countless new friends.
When: Sunday, January 19th, 2014; 4:50 am
The spirit had dissipated through the walls with ease, paying no mind to any obstacles that stood before her body, sifting past without notice. As she went, the picture frames, vases, and glasses flew from their original places; hair bobbed up and down as she skipped through the hallways, a whimsical but disturbing hum echoing from the walls. Kept the song it was, which could be heard in each room, yet it woke none, only sending the students into an unescapable dream. Each tiny foot both stopped their move in front of one certain door, that of Catalina Avery. Riddling with herself and with only a brief halt in motion and noise, the girl walked through the door without taking the effort to open it. Eventually went on her tiptoes to approach the sleeping one, innocently tapping her on the shoulder.
"Oh, psst."
From the second of the other's eyes opened to that when her brows furrowed, her body was no longer hers. Makeshift grin was presented atop her face, as the somewhat larger girl sat up in her bed. Effortlessly, she threw off her covers and skipped down the halls again, this time making a little more noise then before. In this noise, no one approached... Well, no one but those two. A brown haired boy with the thick brows folded his arms across his chest with a hard expression held close. Nevertheless, the other one was in the corner, looming over her. The girl hoped he wouldn't be the one talking, because father was scary. Levelheadedly, she questioned why he was there in the first place, seeing as though he often helped her in creating new playful friends. Over on the side, he stayed silent as the other began with the accusations.
"Villainy. Everest guy in the corner wanted me to say that..." It took a second before he rolled his eyes, knowing he couldn't scold the child into understanding what she was doing was wrong. A turn on his heels was taken and he walked through the dark figure, who disintegrated once passed. May let out a sigh from the other girl's lips, happy they had gone from her without attempting to force her to do anything.
Lingering for only a moment, she took the older girl's body to a room of one of her best friends (which she saw earlier in the night). Only he was in his room, sleeping quiet soundly as he should have; the night had been long from what she had seen. Not but a tap on his shoulder woke him, his eyes fluttering open and set at her. Even the slightest suspicion couldn't be seen as he smiled widely. Less than a second later, a shard of broken glass connected with his neck and those same eyes went frantic. Yaupon fell from the ceiling as the red spurted from the Harley. Eventually, he ran cold. Letting the shard fall from her hand wasn't something that came right away. Pining over herself, the shard rose to the girl's counterfeit body. Moments later, she was fallen onto the ground, the younger back into her original visage petite and young. Even before they woke, she left so they wouldn't see her for her actions, not crimes.
