I wasnt planning on entering this hunt but I could never pass up the opportunity to talk about my girlfriend so here I am! @janyduerks has made such a profound impact on my life that i want to use a bigger word than profound. She helped me finally figure out who I am as a person and honestly thats one of the best things you can have in this world. I remember being shy to even hold her pinkie in the hallways at school out of fear of being judged or attacked for who i am. Soon enough we walked with our hands linked tightly and soon enough after that we walked with my arm wrapped around her shoulder with pride. She made me happy again after years of self hatred and hospitals and doubt and that honestly made my entire life worth living. Shes been with me through every bad emotion, every panic attack and i always know that when im okay again she’ll still be there. Shes like a beam of sunshine to me (i call her that all the time). She deserves this prize because of her patience, commitment, incredible understanding, and helpfulness. Not only to me but to MANY MANY others. She gave a homeless woman 20 dollars the other day. She helps people whenever she can. In fact right now shes in wisconsin helping her grandparents with their house and everything!!! There are so many more examples and she honestly deserves everything the world has to offer. SO cheers to a year and a half of love and a year and a half of pride and a year and a half of happiness.
