GUAIAC
: a genus of flowering shrubs and trees also known as GUAIACUM
[GUAIAC has a number of health uses, but is perhaps best known as its use in the "stool guaiac test," also known as the "guaiac fecal occult blood test" (gFOBT).
The test is used to discover the find the presence of "fecal occult blood" (FOB), so-called because such blood in the feces cannot be seen.
