Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories Gameboy Advance 2004
WIP on my Oblivion Guard Armor series that I started last year! You guys have been seeing the Anvil guard uniform on Evander, and a recolor version of the Imperial Legion armor on Lex (Might change that a bit though so it’s not just a recolor), but we also have Kvatch and Bruma!
Keep in mind these are all in their roughest form- because they are first drafts. ..So pls go easy on me lol.
(Long explanations of design choices ahead, so proceed with reading-eyes if you’re in the mood.)
March Caprice D&D KH One-Shot art pls perceive
With the stream now over that means I can officially share the art I got the delight of working on for Re:Translated's one shot this year! This was not only a ton of fun to work on but it was also amazing to participate in!
The Guard Armor but like, make it Gundam!!! A lot of the inspirations for this are from RX-78 and Zaku units as far as the design goes. A biiiiit of Unicorn (destroy mode) slipped in since I was given creative freedom and you can't say psspspss Shanna draw a Gundam without expecting some part of a Unicorn reference to happen. The color pallet follows the Final Mix one since for obvious reasons it just made sense.
The Marionette Trickmaster! The details on this one keep itself closer to the classic design but brings in some woodcarving/ornate details since it's also a puppet. This one also uses the classic tasty red and black color pallet with the hints of purple, because why wouldn't we?
Although monster design isn't necessarily a specialty (over the years I've done characters and weapons, haha) this was a great opportunity and I'm glad I was able to deliver on both designs in the end!!!
If you'd like to check out the stream you can find it right at the bottom of this post!
And if you have any interest in the actual Kingdom Hearts D&D module, check out Re:T's patreon where you can view it in full!
