An electronic, trilling ringtone echoes from the Slate. The anonymous caller's device wields a tiny camera, and through the high-tech of the Slate, the image comes out in a blur.

"Hello? Is this even a real number?"

A heavily accented voice echoes through, a cause of either the region the caller lives in, or the otherworldly force allowing them to speak a common language.

A close-up of a eye appears on screen, before the figure backs up from the camera, staring down at it inquisitively.

"I have too many numbers on this thing... You aren't Professor Elm, are you?"

Guardian widened her eyes a little at the person, looking over the person curiously through the screen. "Number–? No, no, this isn't Professor 'Elm,' sorry... whoever that is." Their expression lightened a little. "This is Link—or, well, Guardian-"

The slate was snatched by a person behind Guardian, who turned out to be Dark—in control of Time—looking down enthusiastically at the slate. "Hello!! Who's this? Where're you from?" It asked rapidly, eliciting a quiet "calm down, dude" from Guardian.

Dark paused, reading the text over a few times. "... What's a wig?"

Guardian leaned closer, reading it as well. "Synthetic hair."

"Ohhh!" Realization lit up in its expression. "Nope. I won't!"

"Don't yell into it, you'll break it—"

"Hello, world! I mean, I think so. Could be going to absolutely nobody!"

Hello, and welcome to our blog (that's what it's called, right?)! We found this cool thing on Guardian's slate earlier and thought we could check it out!

Right, you'll probably want to meet the crew. I'm Link, but you'll probably know me better as the Hero of Time, and... I'm Dark! I live in Time's head! ... Basically, yeah! I'll explain it later. There's also Mask, Hero of Termina, and Guardian, Hero of the Wild, with us, so we got the whole gang on here!

You're probably really confused about what exactly we're doing here or who we are, so feel free to ask us! Or just ask us anything! We don't bite. I mean, most of us. Dark might.
